I have done many things in my life, but I’ve discovered that I am happiest when I’m creating. As a former educator, I believe we never stop learning—and that we should always lean into the things that bring us joy.

In 2015, I attended the Floral Design Institute in Portland, Oregon, where I fell in love with floral design. OUT OF THE POT.ART was born from the natural merging of things that bring me joy: art, florals, and education.

What sets my brand apart is a deep commitment to community. I collaborate with local artists to incorporate unique, artistic elements into my floral arrangements; I achieve this by using one of a kind mugs, vases or pots created by local artisans, or maybe I incorporate a small piece of glass blown art into the arrangement, etc. When a floral arrangement has lived its life, I want the recipient to be left with a meaningful keepsake—something lasting to remember the moment and the artistry behind it.
